A Facebook (FB) Feeding Frenzy Ahead of IPO

May 18, 2012 9:59 AM EDT
A number of sources are suggesting brokers are getting pounded with phone calls about getting in on the Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) IPO. In fact, StreetInsider.com got a call wanting to buy shares from us (sorry, we are not a broker).

Indication from Germany show FB quotes in the 58-59 EUR range, which would be over $70 US. However, we would not put too much faith in these initial quotes. Shares will not open in Germany until after the U.S. open.

Nasdaq is currently expecting quotes to start at 10:45AM ET and trading to open at 11AM, although this is subject to change.
