Vertical Aerospace (NYSE: EVTL) announced that 16 members of its board of directors and senior leadership team purchased the company's ordinary shares through open-market transactions during a two-week trading window in November 2025.

The share purchases increased the holdings of Vertical's directors and leadership by approximately 50%. The transactions followed similar open-market purchases by Chairman Dómhnal Slattery and two board members in May 2025.

Mudrick Capital Management, the company's majority shareholder, acquired an additional 350,000 shares through open-market purchases since November 24, 2025, according to the company.

Vertical also disclosed that company founder Stephen Fitzpatrick's directly held shares now represent less than 0.4% of ordinary shares as of November 28, 2025, down from approximately 15% on January 1, 2025.

The electric aviation company is currently conducting Phase 4 transition flight testing, which represents the final stage of its prototype flight test program. Vertical plans to unveil its new full-size aircraft on December 10, 2025, in London.

The VX4 is a piloted, four-passenger electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. Vertical has approximately 1,500 pre-orders for the VX4 from customers including American Airlines, Japan Airlines, GOL, and Bristow.

The company is also developing a hybrid-electric variant of the aircraft. Vertical is headquartered in Bristol, UK, and maintains partnerships with aerospace companies including GKN, Honeywell, and Aciturri.

The information was disclosed in a company press release statement.
