VCI Global CEO purchases additional shares in open market
VCI Global Limited (NASDAQ: VCIG) announced that Chief Executive Officer Victor Hoo purchased additional shares through open-market transactions on November 21, 2025.
The transactions were executed through Hoo's privately controlled investment vehicle and conducted in accordance with U.S. securities regulations. The company stated it will file full transaction details with the Securities and Exchange Commission via Form 6-K.
The Board of Directors said in a statement that Hoo's purchases reflect his confidence in the company's strategic direction and value-creation opportunities across its technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, financial services, and digital asset infrastructure sectors.
The share purchases follow VCI Global's recently announced share repurchase program. The company described both actions as demonstrations of confidence from management and the company in its platform and growth trajectory.
VCI Global operates as a cross-sector platform builder focusing on artificial intelligence, encrypted data infrastructure, digital treasury systems, and capital market solutions. The Malaysia-based company serves enterprises, governments, and institutions in the digital economy sector.
