Streamex Corp. (NASDAQ: STEX) announced that co-founders Morgan Lekstrom and Henry McPhie entered into voluntary one-year lock-up agreements on March 26, 2026, restricting them from selling their shares without company consent.

The company also refuted third-party reports from S&P Capital IQ displayed on MarketScreener on March 23, 2026, which claimed that lock-up agreements covering 89,833,535 shares were set to expire on March 24, 2026. Streamex stated this information was materially inaccurate.

The company clarified that certain directors and officers had entered into 60-day lock-up agreements on January 22, 2026, covering 42,887,599 shares. These included 21,014,450 shares held by CEO Henry McPhie and 20,707,421 shares held by Executive Chairman Morgan Lekstrom. The company stated that no executive officers, directors, or other security holders held warrants, options, preferred stock, or other securities subject to lock-up agreements as described in the third-party posts.

The January 26, 2026 financing was conducted as a confidentially marketed public offering, with all shares issued being freely tradable upon closing and not subject to lock-up restrictions.

"Misinformation contained in recent third-party publications is false, and the Company refutes these statements," Lekstrom and McPhie said in a joint statement. They described the voluntary lock-up agreements as reflecting their commitment to the company and its shareholders.

Streamex operates as a technology and infrastructure company focused on tokenization and digitalization of commodity real-world assets, providing institutional-grade solutions that bridge traditional finance and blockchain-enabled markets.
