Sino-Forest (SNOFF) Shares Rise as Wellington Discloses Large Stake

Sino-Forest (OTC: SNOFF) shares ripped higher on the Toronto Stock Exchange Tuesday following news Wellington Management purchased an 11.5 percent stake in the company.
Trading on the OTC exchange has pushed Sino-Forest shares up more than 15 percent to $3.60. Trading on Toronto's TSE under the ticker "TRE," has shares up about 28 percent.
Wellington, based out of Boston, MA, said it now owns about 28.35 million Sino-Forest shares.
