Genius Group insiders purchase over 600,000 shares
Genius Group Limited (NYSE American: GNS) announced that its CEO and founder Roger Hamilton, along with board directors and executive team members, purchased over 600,000 company shares at market price on September 24.
Hamilton acquired 500,000 shares on the open market at an average price of $0.94 per share. Board members Thomas Power and Suraj Naik, together with executive team members including CFO Gaurav Dama and Head of Legal Eva Mantziou, purchased a combined 100,110 shares at an average price of $0.93 per share.
The purchases occurred after the company released its 2025 first-half financial results on September 23 and the subsequent end of the company's blackout period on September 24 at 8:00 a.m. ET.
These transactions follow Hamilton's previous purchase of 650,000 shares announced in June and three company share buybacks of 1,000,000 shares each over the past three months. The Singapore-based education company reported that 60.3% of its issued shares are now in book entry form, with 39.7% remaining at brokers as of September 23.
Hamilton stated the purchases demonstrate confidence in the company's future growth and belief that the stock remains undervalued. He noted that Genius Group's market capitalization increased over 600% in six months following the stay of a preliminary injunction in April that had impacted business operations.
Genius Group describes itself as an AI-powered education group serving six million users across more than 100 countries through its online digital marketplace offering AI training, tools and talent services.
