After the close Monday, Dell's (Nasdaq: DELL) Founder/Chairman/CEO, Michael Dell, disclosed he recently bought 4,878,000 shares of the computer maker at prices from $20.42-$20.67.
The new purchases brings Michael Dell's stake to just over 255 million shares.
In July Michael Dell bought 4.5 million shares.
Shares of Dell fell 14% on August 29th after reporting disappointing Q2 results, due to lower gross margin. Dell also warned that conservatism in IT spending is spreading to Western Europe and Asia. The earnings report was a blow to Dell investors, who thought the company had finally turned a corner in their turnaround.
Dell, Inc. and its subsidiaries engage in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, sale, and support of computer systems and services worldwide.
