Vogenx prices IPO at $13 per share, raising $81.3M
Vogenx, Inc. (NASDAQ: VOGX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, has priced its initial public offering of 6,250,000 shares of common stock at $13.00 per share, the high end of its offering range.
The company expects gross proceeds of approximately $81.3 million before deducting underwriting discounts, commissions, and other expenses. Vogenx has also granted underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 937,500 shares at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
Trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol "VOGX" was expected to begin August 12, 2026, with the offering expected to close August 13, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
JonesTrading Institutional Services LLC acted as sole book-running manager for the offering.
Vogenx focuses on developing therapeutics for diseases related to dysfunctions in human metabolism, including post-bariatric hypoglycemia and gastroparesis. Its lead product candidate, mizagliflozin, is an orally administered small molecule drug candidate in development for those conditions as well as GIP-dependent Cushing's Syndrome. The company licensed worldwide rights to mizagliflozin, excluding Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, from Kissei Pharmaceutical in 2021.
A registration statement related to the offering was declared effective by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on August 11, 2026.
