The IPO for U.S. Silica Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SLCA) is open for trading. Shares are trading at $17.13 after pricing 11,764,705 shares $17, the middle of the expected range.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, BofA Merrill Lynch and Jefferies & Company, Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Simmons & Company International, Dahlman Rose & Company, LLC, BB&T Capital Markets, a division of Scott & Stringfellow, LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Lazard Capital Markets LLC and Moelis & Company LLC are acting as co-managers for the offering.
U.S. Silica Holdings, Inc., a Delaware corporation, is the second largest domestic producer of commercial silica, a specialized mineral that is a critical input into the oil and gas proppants end market and a variety of attractive industrial and specialty products end markets.
