Solazyme (SZEN) Files $100M IPO

Solazyme, Inc. (Nasdaq: SZEM) filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission today for an Initial Public Offering of their Common Stock. The proposed maximum aggregate offering price is $100 million. The company has filed to list their shares on Nasdaq Capital Markets under the ticker "SZEM."

Te offering is being made through Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Pacific Crest Securities, and Lazard Capital Markets.

Solazyme makes oil. Specifically, SZEM transforms a range of low-cost plant-based sugars into high-value oils.
