Scribe Therapeutics raises $155.51M in IPO on Nasdaq

Scribe Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: SCTX), a clinical-stage biotechnology company, closed its initial public offering on July 27, 2026, raising approximately $155.51 million in aggregate gross proceeds before underwriting discounts and commissions.



The Alameda, California-based company sold 9,867,000 shares of common stock at $15.00 per share, including 1,287,000 additional shares issued following the full exercise of the underwriters' option. The company's shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on July 24, 2026, under the ticker symbol "SCTX."



Alongside the IPO, Scribe Therapeutics closed a concurrent private placement of 500,000 shares to Sanofi at the IPO price of $15.00 per share. Those shares were not registered under the Securities Act of 1933.



Leerink Partners, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Guggenheim Securities, and Wells Fargo Securities served as joint book-running managers for the offering.
