Online Security Software Firm AVG Technologies (AVG) Files $125M IPO

AVG Technologies N.V. (NYSE: AVG) filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock. The proposed maximum offering price is $125 million. AVG Tech plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "AVG."

The offering is being made through J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Allen & Co., Cowen and Company, and JMP Securities.

AVG Tech provides software and online services that deliver "peace of mind" to users by simplifying, optimizing and securing their Internet experiences, according to the filing.
