Nightstar Therapeutics plc (NITE) IPO Opens Up 23%

Today's IPO for Nightstar Therapeutics plc (NASDAQ: NITE) opened for trading at $17.25 after pricing 5,360,000 American Depositary Shares representing 5,360,000 ordinary shares at an initial public offering price of $14.00 per ADS.

In addition, Nightstar has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 804,000 ADSs at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.

Jefferies LLC, Leerink Partners LLC and BMO Capital Markets Corp. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Wedbush Securities Inc. and Chardan are acting as co-managers.

Nightstar is a leading clinical-stage gene therapy company focused on developing and commercializing novel one-time treatments for patients suffering from rare inherited retinal diseases including choroideremia, X-linked retinitis pigmentosa and Best vitelliform macular dystrophy.
