McKinley Acquisition allows separate trading of shares, rights

McKinley Acquisition Corporation (NASDAQ: MKLYU) announced that starting October 2, 2025, holders of units from the company's initial public offering can elect to separately trade the Class A ordinary shares and rights contained within those units.

The separated Class A ordinary shares will trade on The Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol "MKLY" while the rights will trade under "MKLYR." Units that remain unseparated will continue trading under the existing symbol "MKLYU." The company noted that no fractional rights will be issued during separation, with only whole rights eligible for trading.

Unit holders must contact Odyssey Transfer and Trust Company, the company's transfer agent, through their brokers to complete the separation process.

McKinley Acquisition Corporation is a blank check company incorporated in the Cayman Islands. The company was formed to pursue a merger, amalgamation, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission declared the company's registration statement on Form S-1 effective on August 11, 2025, according to the press release.
