MPLX (MPLX) Files $365M IPO

MPLX LP (NYSE: MPLX) filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock. The proposed maximum offering price is $365 million. MPLX applied to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker, "MPLX."

The offering is being made through UBS Investment Bank and BofA Merrill Lynch.

MPLX a fee-based, growth-oriented limited partnership recently formed by Marathon Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: MRO) to own, operate, develop and acquire crude oil, refined product and other hydrocarbon-based product pipelines and other midstream assets.
