Laredo Petroleum Holdings (LPI) Files $450M IPO

Laredo Petroleum Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: LPI), filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock. The proposed maximum offering price is $450 million. Laredo filed to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "LPI."

The offering is being made through J.P. Morgan, Goldman, Sachs & Co., BofA Merrill Lynch, and Wells Fargo Securities.

Laredo Petroleum is an independent energy company focused on the exploration, development and acquisition of oil and natural gas in the Permian and Mid-Continent regions of the United States.
