LB Pharmaceuticals prices upsized IPO at $15 per share
LB Pharmaceuticals Inc announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 19 million shares at $15.00 per share. The biopharmaceutical company expects to raise $285 million in gross proceeds before underwriting discounts and other offering expenses.
The company granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 2.85 million additional shares at the offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. The shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on September 11, 2025 under the ticker symbol "LBRX."
The offering is expected to close on September 12, 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. Leerink Partners, Piper Sandler and Stifel are serving as joint bookrunning managers for the offering.
LB Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing therapies for schizophrenia, bipolar depression and other neuropsychiatric diseases. The company's lead product candidate is LB-102, which it describes as a potential benzamide antipsychotic drug for neuropsychiatric disorders.
