HCM IV Acquisition prices $250 million IPO at $10 per unit
HCM IV Acquisition Corp priced its initial public offering of 25 million units at $10.00 per unit, raising $250 million. The blank check company's units will begin trading on February 12, 2026, on the Nasdaq Global Market under ticker symbol "HACQU."
Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-quarter of one redeemable warrant. Whole warrants can be exercised to purchase one Class A ordinary share at $11.50 per share. Once separate trading begins, the Class A shares and warrants will trade under symbols "HACQ" and "HACQW," respectively.
Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. serves as sole bookrunner for the offering. The company granted underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 3.75 million units to cover over-allotments.
The company plans to identify businesses providing technology or innovations within the financial services industry, focusing on established companies that may need assistance to maximize value. Leadership includes Chairman and CEO Shawn Matthews, CFO Steve Bischoff, and President Shawn Matthews Jr.
The Securities and Exchange Commission declared the registration statement effective on February 11, 2026, according to the company's announcement.
