Ceres (CERE) Cuts IPO Range from $21-$23 to $16-$17/Share

Ceres (Nasdaq: CERE) filed an amended registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock. The company is now looking to sell 5 million common shares in the range of $16-$17 per share, down from a previously-expected range of $21-$23 per share. Cares filed to list on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker "CERE."

The offering is being made through Goldman, Sachs & Co., Barclays Capital, Piper Jaffray, Raymond James and Simmons & Company.

Cares is an agricultural biotechnology company selling seeds to produce renewable biomass feedstocks that can enable the large-scale replacement of petroleum and other fossil fuels.
