Cantor Equity Partners V raises $250 million in IPO

Cantor Equity Partners V, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEPV) completed its initial public offering of 25 million Class A ordinary shares at $10.00 per share, raising $250 million. The offering included 3 million shares from the partial exercise of underwriters' overallotment option.



The shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol "CEPV" on November 4, 2025. The company placed $250 million from the IPO proceeds and a simultaneous private placement into a trust account.



Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. served as the sole book-running manager for the offering. The registration statement became effective on November 3, 2025.



Cantor Equity Partners V is a blank check company sponsored by Cantor Fitzgerald and led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Brandon Lutnick. The company was formed to pursue mergers, acquisitions, or business combinations with target companies.



The company stated it will focus on industries where management's expertise provides competitive advantages, including financial services, digital assets, healthcare, real estate services, technology and software sectors. The company has not limited its search to specific industries or geographic regions.
