Braveheart Bio raises $439.9M in upsized Nasdaq IPO
Braveheart Bio, Inc. (Nasdaq: BRVE), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, closed its initial public offering of 24,437,500 shares of common stock at $18.00 per share, according to a press release statement.
The total share count includes the full exercise by underwriters of an option to purchase 3,187,500 additional shares. All shares were offered by Braveheart Bio. Gross proceeds from the offering totaled $439.9 million before deducting underwriting discounts, commissions, and other offering expenses.
The shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on Aug. 6, 2026, under the ticker symbol "BRVE."
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Jefferies, TD Cowen, Stifel, and Cantor served as joint book-running managers for the offering.
The company's lead product candidate, BHB-1893, is an oral small-molecule cardiac myosin inhibitor being developed for the treatment of obstructive and non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
The registration statements related to the offering were filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and became effective on Aug. 5, 2026.
