GridAI Technologies Corp (NASDAQ: GRDX) announced the appointment of Marshall Chapin as Chief Executive Officer of its wholly-owned operating subsidiary GridAI, Inc., which develops grid and power-management software for artificial intelligence data centers.

Chapin previously served as Chief Commercial Officer and Interim CEO of Amp X, another GridAI subsidiary, since March 2025. He brings more than 30 years of experience in energy transition, grid optimization, and distributed energy sectors.

"Marshall's proven ability to commercialize complex energy-software platforms and scale global go-to-market operations makes him the ideal leader for GridAI at this pivotal moment," said Jason Sawyer, CEO of GridAI Technologies Corp.

Before joining GridAI's subsidiaries, Chapin held executive positions at several energy companies. He worked at EnerNOC for eight years, helping grow the company from $26 million to $270 million in annual revenue before its acquisition by Enel. He also served as Chief Revenue Officer at SYSO Technologies and Chief Customer Officer at Eos Energy Enterprises (NASDAQ: EOSE).

The appointment occurs as artificial intelligence infrastructure investment increases globally. The company stated that AI data center market projections show the sector surpassing $1 trillion by 2030.

GridAI Technologies Corp operates as a diversified technology and life sciences company. The company continues to advance its biopharmaceutical program focused on gastrointestinal disease therapies alongside its energy infrastructure operations following its acquisition of Grid AI, Inc.

Chapin holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from Kenyon College. The information is based on a company press release.
