"Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Embraer S.A. (B3: BOVESPA: EMBR3, NYSE: ERJ) today confirmed that the two companies are dealing with a potential combination of their business, on a basis that is still being discussed.

There is no guarantee that any transaction will result from these discussions. Boeing and Embraer do not wish to make further comments on these discussions.

Any transaction will be subject to the approval of the Brazilian Government and regulatory bodies, the boards of directors of the two companies and of Embraer's shareholders. "
