Volkswagen Signs with Ohme as Official EV Charging Partner

Ohme, a leading smart charging platform in the UK, has signed on as the official charging partner for the Volkswagen Group brands. The agreement will see five Volkswagen Group brands recommend Ohme chargers for all its electrified vehicle sales with an Ohme Home Pro charger in showrooms for customers to view.

Ohme’s Home Pro smart charger connects to the national grid in real time allowing owners to take advantage of the cheapest charging times with off-peak tariffs, automatically. The smart charger also offers drivers the option to charge their car when renewable energy generation on the National Grid is at its highest, further lowering their CO2 impact.
