BMW EV sales surge in 3Q
BMW reported a remarkable 79.6% surge in their fully-electric BMW and MINI vehicle sales in Q3 compared to last year.
The automaker saw a remarkable 100.3% year-on-year increase in its Q3 deliveries of fully-electric vehicles, effectively doubling their numbers. This positive trend also extended to the company's overall portfolio, with a total of 621,699 vehicles, comprising BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce, being delivered to customers in the same quarter, reflecting a 5.8% year-on-year rise.
Over the course of January to September, the company achieved a 5.1% growth in total sales, resulting in the delivery of 1,836,563 vehicles.
Additionally, BMW Group projects BEVs to make up a substantial 15% of its 2023 total vehicle sales.
