Five Below reports 23.2% holiday sales increase, raises guidance

Five Below Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVE) reported net sales of $1.47 billion for its holiday period from November 2, 2025 through January 3, 2026, representing a 23.2% increase from $1.19 billion in the comparable period last year. Comparable sales increased 14.5% during the nine-week holiday period.
The Philadelphia-based retailer raised its fourth quarter fiscal 2025 outlook following the holiday performance. The company now expects net sales of approximately $1.71 billion for the fourth quarter, with comparable sales growth of approximately 14.5%. Diluted earnings per share are projected at $3.93 to $3.98 on approximately 55.6 million diluted weighted average shares outstanding.
For the full fiscal year 2025, Five Below increased its guidance to net sales of approximately $4.75 billion and comparable sales growth of approximately 12.5%. Full-year diluted earnings per share are expected to range from $6.10 to $6.15 on approximately 55.5 million diluted weighted average shares outstanding.
"We are incredibly pleased with our holiday performance, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the strategies we have been executing this year," said CEO Winnie Park in a statement.
The updated outlook includes the expected impact of tariffs currently in place and excludes the impact of share repurchases. The company's adjusted diluted earnings per share guidance excludes nonrecurring or non-cash items including retention awards and other specified costs.
Five Below operates over 1,900 stores across 46 states, offering products primarily priced between $1 and $5.
