Walmart (WMT) Raises Quarterly Dividend 1.9% to $0.55; Approves $20B Buyback Plan
Walmart (NYSE: WMT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.55 per share, or $2.2 annualized. This is a 1.9% increase from the prior dividend of $0.54.
The dividend will be payable on April 5, 2021, to stockholders of record on March 19, 2021, with an ex-dividend date of March 18, 2021.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.5 percent.
- The company increased its dividend for the 48th consecutive year and approved a new $20 billion share repurchase program.
