Appaloosa Management's David Tepper is bullish on stocks, saying it is difficult to be bearish as he views the sell-off in Treasuries as likely over, CNBC reported.
Tepper said the major market risk has been removed and rates should be more stable near-term.
“Basically I think rates have temporarily made the most of the move and should be more stable in the next few months, which makes it safer to be in stocks for now,” Tepper told CNBC’s Joe Kernen, who shared them on “Squawk Box.”
The hedge fund manager said stocks like Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) are starting to look attractive.
Tepper believes the Fed "goes asleep" until September and doesn't see a move until December.
