Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) total December comp store sales rose 2.4% (without fuel). Wal-Mart stores rose 2.6% and Sam's Club rose 1.3%.
Wal-Mart expects Q4 qtr guidance within their previously stated guidance of $0.99 to $1.03, but said will Q4 EPS will be pressured by higher interest expense versus last year.
