Shares of Tyco Electronics (NYSE: TEL) have jumped in this evening's after-hours session following a revised Q3 earnings and sales outlook. After closing today's intraday session at $19.26, the stock most recently traded at $20.70, up more than 7% from the close.
Tyco now sees Q3 sales in the range of $2.45-$2.55 billion, up from $2.35-$2.45 billion previously and versus the analyst estimate of $2.4 billion. For adjusted EPS, Tyco raises its quarterly view from $0.01-$0.06 to $0.10-$0.17. The Street is currently expecting Q3 EPS of $0.03.
