Tevogen Bio Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: TVGN) announced revenue projections for its oncology pipeline, forecasting $1 billion in launch year revenue and cumulative 5-year estimates between $10 billion and $14 billion, according to a company statement.
The clinical-stage immunotherapy company develops off-the-shelf T cell therapeutics for infectious diseases and cancers. The revenue forecast covers treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection in solid and hematologic cancer patients receiving active treatment.
The company states that total eligible patients in the United States exceed 2 million. Chief Commercial Officer Sadiq Khan said the company's first pivotal study with TVGN 489 targets cancer patients undergoing immunosuppressive treatments and chemotherapy who face SARS-CoV-2 infection risks.
Tevogen's pipeline includes TVGN 489 for treating SARS-CoV-2 infection in cancer patients, TVGN 920 for cervical cancer prevention, TVGN 930 for EBV-associated lymphomas, TVGN 960 for mouth and throat cancer, and TVGN 601 for multiple sclerosis. The TVGN 489 program also addresses SARS-CoV-2 infection in rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis patients, plus Long COVID treatment.
The Warren, New Jersey-based company operates through what it describes as a faster and cost-efficient drug development model using genetically unmodified T cell therapeutics. The revenue projections reflect only the oncology segment, with forecasts for other therapeutic areas to follow.
The projections represent forward-looking statements subject to various risks and uncertainties, including the need for additional capital, regulatory approval processes, and clinical trial outcomes.
