Tesla sales in Germany drop 48% in December

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) sales in Germany fell 48% in December compared to the same month in the previous year, according to data from the German road traffic agency KBA released Tuesday.
The electric vehicle manufacturer sold 2,032 cars in Germany during December. For the full year 2024, Tesla sales in Germany declined 48.4% to 19,390 units compared to the previous year.
The decline contrasts with the broader German electric vehicle market, which saw newly registered electric vehicles increase 43.2% to 545,142 units in 2024, KBA reported.
