Tempus AI reports preliminary 2025 revenue of $1.27 billion, up 83%

Tempus AI Inc. (NASDAQ: TEM) announced preliminary unaudited results showing revenue of approximately $1.27 billion for 2025, representing 83% growth year-over-year, according to a company statement.

The technology company reported diagnostics revenue of approximately $955 million for the full year, marking 111% growth year-over-year. Oncology volume increased 26% while hereditary volume grew 29%. Data and applications revenue reached approximately $316 million, up 31% year-over-year.

For the fourth quarter, Tempus reported revenue of approximately $367 million, an 83% increase from the prior year period. Diagnostics revenue totaled approximately $266 million, representing 121% growth, while data and applications revenue was approximately $100 million, up 25% year-over-year.

The company noted that organic growth, excluding the Ambry acquisition, was approximately 30% for the full year. Within the data business, insights revenue grew 38% for the year and 68% in the fourth quarter when excluding the impact of an AstraZeneca warrant from the prior year period.

Chief Executive Eric Lefkofsky stated that genomics offering volume growth accelerated for the third consecutive quarter, reaching what he described as the highest unit growth rate in years.

The figures are preliminary and unaudited, with the company cautioning that final results may differ materially from these estimates. Tempus has not completed preparation of its financial statements for the fourth quarter or full year 2025 and plans to report complete results in February 2026.

The announcement preceded the company's presentation at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference.
