Signet Jewelers Ltd (NYSE: SIG) today announced its sales for the nine weeks ended December 29, 2012 and guidance for the 14 weeks ending February 2, 2013.
For the 9 weeks ending December 29th, comps rose 3.3 percent.
Fiscal 2013 Guidance Update:
Diluted earnings per share for the Fourth Quarter are currently projected at $2.05 to $2.10. Diluted earnings per share for the 53 weeks ending February 2, 2013 are projected at $4.28 to $4.33.
(The Streets sees Q4 EPS of $2.08 and FY EPS of $4.29)
Capital spending for Fiscal 2013 is anticipated to be $138 million to $142 million reflecting current estimates of project timing. In addition to the Ultra Stores, Inc ("Ultra") acquisition, we anticipate 48 new US-based stores for the year.
