SOPHiA GENETICS promotes Ross Muken to CEO, reports Q4 revenue growth

SOPHiA GENETICS (NASDAQ: SOPH) reported preliminary fourth quarter 2025 revenue of at least $21 million, representing approximately 20% year-over-year growth, according to a company statement. The AI-driven precision medicine company also announced that Ross Muken will become Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2026.

For the full year 2025, the company reported preliminary revenue of approximately $77 million, an increase of about 18% from the prior year. The company performed over 391,000 analyses on its SOPHiA DDM platform during 2025, which it described as a company record.

Muken, who currently serves as President, will succeed co-founder Jurgi Camblong, who will transition to Executive Chairman of the Board subject to election at the company's Annual General Meeting in June 2026. Muken joined SOPHiA GENETICS in February 2021 as Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to President in May 2024.

The company provided 2026 guidance of $92 million to $94 million in revenue, representing 20% to 22% year-over-year growth. SOPHiA GENETICS expects an adjusted EBITDA loss between $29 million and $32 million for 2026.

Kevin Puylaert, currently Managing Director of EMEA, was appointed Chief Sales Officer effective January 2026. Puylaert has been with the company for more than 10 years in various senior leadership roles.

The financial results are preliminary and unaudited, as the company has not completed preparation of its financial statements for the fourth quarter or full year 2025. SOPHiA GENETICS plans to report complete financial results during its earnings call scheduled for March 3, 2026.

The company operates in over 70 countries and serves more than 800 healthcare institutions through its cloud-based genomic analysis platform.
