Polestar reports 36% sales growth in first nine months of 2025

Polestar (NASDAQ: PSNY) reported retail sales of approximately 14,192 cars in the third quarter of 2025, representing a 13% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer sold an estimated 44,482 cars in the first nine months of 2025, marking a 36% growth versus the corresponding period last year.

The company's third-quarter performance brought its nine-month sales volume to match its full-year 2024 total, according to the press release statement. Chief Executive Officer Michael Lohscheller noted that the quarter demonstrated continued growth despite external headwinds and challenging market conditions.

Polestar plans to publish select third-quarter 2025 results and conduct an analyst conference call on November 12, 2025. The company currently offers four models in its lineup: Polestar 2, Polestar 3, Polestar 4, and Polestar 5, with additional models including the Polestar 6 roadster and Polestar 7 compact SUV in development.

The electric vehicle manufacturer operates in 28 markets across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, with manufacturing facilities currently located in North America and Asia. The company has indicated plans to expand its manufacturing footprint to include European production for the Polestar 7 model.
