The fitness chain projects low-double digit percent compound annual revenue growth and mid-teens percent compound annual growth for adjusted EBITDA over the three-year period. The company expects new club unit growth in the 6% to 7% range and system-wide same club sales growth in the mid-single digit percent range.

Planet Fitness also targets mid-to-high teens percent compound annual growth for adjusted net income per share on a diluted basis through 2028.

"Planet Fitness has achieved remarkable growth since its initial public offering 10 years ago, evolving from an industry challenger to a clear leader in the fitness sector," said Chief Executive Officer Colleen Keating.

Approximately 90% of Planet Fitness clubs are owned and operated by independent franchisees, according to the company statement.
