Pacira BioSciences reports $726.4 million revenue for 2025

Pacira BioSciences Inc. (NASDAQ: PCRX) reported preliminary unaudited revenue of $726.4 million for 2025, compared with $701.0 million in 2024, according to a company statement.

The company's primary product EXPAREL generated net sales of $575.1 million for the full year, up from $549.0 million in 2024. Fourth quarter EXPAREL sales reached $155.8 million, compared with $147.7 million in the same period of 2024, driven by 7 percent volume growth partially offset by pricing pressures from new group purchasing organization partnerships.

ZILRETTA, the company's osteoarthritis treatment, recorded full-year net sales of $116.6 million in 2025, down from $118.1 million in 2024. Fourth quarter ZILRETTA sales were $33.0 million compared with $33.1 million in the prior year.

The company's iovera device generated $24.2 million in full-year sales, up from $22.8 million in 2024. Fourth quarter iovera sales totaled $7.0 million versus $6.5 million in the comparable 2024 period.

During the fourth quarter, Pacira repurchased 2.0 million shares of common stock for $50.0 million through open market transactions. The company had $150.0 million remaining on its share repurchase authorization at year-end, which expires December 31, 2026.

The company granted stock options for 14,000 shares and restricted stock units for 22,300 shares to ten new employees on January 5, 2026, under its inducement plan. The stock options have an exercise price of $25.10 per share.

The financial information is preliminary and unaudited, subject to adjustment. Pacira expects to report complete financial results and guidance later in the first quarter of 2026.
