Niu Technologies (NASDAQ: NIU) sold 465,873 units in the third quarter of 2025, representing a 49% increase from 312,405 units sold in the same period last year, according to a company statement.

The Beijing-based electric vehicle manufacturer's China market sales reached 451,455 units in the quarter, up 74% from 259,094 units in the third quarter of 2024. International market sales totaled 14,418 units, down from 53,311 units in the prior year period.

For the first nine months of 2025, total sales volume reached 1,019,276 units compared to 697,706 units in the same period of 2024. China market sales for the nine-month period were 953,239 units versus 576,761 units in 2024, while international sales were 66,037 units compared to 120,945 units.

The company launched two models in July 2025: the FXT Ultra 2025 and NXT Ultra 2025. These products include battery range and performance improvements.

Niu's product portfolio includes electric motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, kick-scooters and e-bikes across two model lineups: the electric motorcycle, moped and bicycle series, and the micro-mobility series.

The company noted that sales volume figures are based on delivery from manufacturing facilities and may differ from financial accounting measurements. Sales volume represents one measure of financial performance and does not indicate quarterly financial results, which depend on factors including accessory revenues, spare parts, services, cost of sales and operating expenses.
