NWY Dec Comps Up 10.9%; Guides

New York & Company, Inc. (NYSE: NWY) said comparable store sales increased 10.9% for the five-week period. The company's previous earnings per share guidance issued on October 6, 2005 of $0.29 to $0.36 is being revised to $0.34 to $0.36.
