NIO delivers 31,305 vehicles in August, up 55% year-over-year

NIO Inc. (NYSE: NIO) delivered 31,305 vehicles in August 2025, representing a 55.2% increase compared to the same month in 2024, according to a company statement.

The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer's August deliveries consisted of 10,525 vehicles from its premium NIO brand, 16,434 vehicles from its family-oriented ONVO brand, and 4,346 vehicles from its FIREFLY brand for smaller electric cars.

For the first eight months of 2025, NIO delivered 166,472 vehicles, marking a 30.0% increase from the same period in 2024. The company's cumulative deliveries reached 838,036 vehicles as of August 31, 2025.

NIO operates three distinct vehicle brands targeting different market segments. The company manufactures and sells smart electric vehicles while developing battery swapping technology and other mobility services.

The Shanghai-based company trades on the New York Stock Exchange, Hong Kong Exchange, and Singapore Exchange. NIO was founded in November 2014 and positions itself in the premium smart electric vehicle market.
