MicroCloud Hologram expects first-half 2025 net profit above $33 million

MicroCloud Hologram Inc. (NASDAQ: HOLO) announced preliminary financial results showing an expected net profit exceeding $33 million for the first half of 2025, compared to a net loss of approximately $17 million in the same period of 2024.
The technology service provider reported holding $421 million in cash reserves. The company plans to allocate up to $200 million of these funds for investments in Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies, and related securities derivatives, according to the press release statement.
MicroCloud indicated the remaining cash reserves will be directed toward technology development in quantum computing, quantum holography, and artificial intelligence augmented reality applications.
The Shenzhen-based company provides holographic technology services including light detection and ranging solutions, holographic imaging, and digital twin technology services. MicroCloud focuses on holographic advanced driver assistance systems and maintains a proprietary holographic digital twin technology resource library.
The company stated the anticipated first-half profit is expected to positively impact its full-year 2025 net profit results.
