Magna International Inc. (NYSE: MGA) has announced its financial outlook for 2012. All amounts are in U.S. dollars.
Fiscal 2012: sales of $27.8 - $29.3 billion. The Street sees revs of $29.64 billion. Numbers based on vehicle production volume of 13.6 million units in North America, 13.0 million units in West Europe.
Magna also expects a net increase in total production sales over the two-year period from 2012 to 2014 of approximately $3.2 billion, based on assumed full year 2014 light vehicle production volumes of approximately 15.4 million units in North America and approximately 14.2 million units in Western Europe. It expects the net increase in total production sales to be split approximately as follows by segment: 50% in North America, 15% in Europe and 35% in Rest of World.
