MARA produces 736 bitcoin in September, up 4% from August

MARA Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MARA) produced 736 bitcoin in September 2025, representing a 4% increase from the 705 bitcoin produced in August, according to the company's operational update released October 3.
The bitcoin mining company won 218 blocks during September, a 5% increase from 208 blocks in August. Average daily bitcoin production rose to 24.5 bitcoin per day from 22.7 bitcoin in the previous month, marking an 8% increase.
MARA's energized hashrate increased 1% month-over-month to 60.4 exahashes per second as of September 30. The company's share of available miner rewards grew to 5.2% in September from 4.9% in August.
"In September, we produced 218 blocks, a 5% increase over August, demonstrating the continued strength and resilience of our operations even as global hashrate grew 9% month-over-month to an average of 1,031 EH/s," said Fred Thiel, MARA's chairman and CEO.
The company reported that all containers and miners at its Texas wind farm are now fully deployed and connected, keeping the facility on track to achieve full operational status in the fourth quarter. At MARA's Hannibal, Ohio site, the company increased uptime to 99% since assuming full control, with 86 MW currently online and an additional 14 MW targeted by year-end.
As of September 30, 2025, MARA held 52,850 bitcoin, including bitcoin that is loaned, actively managed or pledged as collateral. The company reported net sales of bitcoin during September through its digital asset management activities.
Fleet uptime reached 99% overall, excluding temporary weather-related downtime at the Garden City location.
