InterDigital issues 2026 financial outlook with revenue up to $775 million

InterDigital Inc. (NASDAQ: IDCC) provided its financial outlook for 2026, projecting revenue between $675 million and $775 million. The mobile and AI technology research company announced the guidance alongside news of a new license agreement with LG Electronics and a recent smartphone renewal with a major Chinese vendor.

The company forecasts adjusted EBITDA of $381 million to $477 million for the full year. Diluted earnings per share are projected at $5.77 to $8.51, while non-GAAP earnings per share are expected to range from $8.74 to $11.84.

"Our business momentum continues into 2026," said CEO and President Liren Chen. "We expect another strong year and will provide our first quarter 2026 outlook, along with additional color on our full year outlook, when we report earnings on February 5th."

The outlook incorporates both existing licenses and expected contributions from new agreements and enforcement actions the company may receive during the year. InterDigital's projections include net income of $202 million to $298 million, with weighted average diluted shares of 35 million under GAAP accounting.

The Delaware-based company develops foundational technologies for wireless communications, video processing, and artificial intelligence applications. InterDigital licenses its innovations to companies making wireless devices, consumer electronics, IoT products, and vehicles, as well as cloud-based service providers.

The company plans to provide additional details on its first quarter and full-year outlook during its earnings report scheduled for February 5th, according to the announcement made in a press release.
