High-Trend International Group (NASDAQ: HTCO) reported total revenue of $99.4 million for the six months ended April 30, 2025, representing a 185.2% increase from $34.9 million in the same period of 2024, according to the company's financial results.
The Singapore-based ocean technology company's ocean freight revenue reached $99.0 million, up 198.1% from $33.2 million in the prior year period. The company expanded its dry bulk cargo operations to include coal ocean freight services on routes covering Australia to China, Indonesia to Southeast Asia, and Vietnam.
Voyage days for ocean freight revenue increased from 953 days in 2024 to 3,420 days in 2025, an increase of 258.9%. Cash and cash equivalents reached $13.2 million as of April 30, 2025, up 93.0% from October 31, 2024.
The company generated $0.4 million in revenue from consulting services for ship exhaust gas capture technology during the first half of 2025. Gross profit increased 63.1% year-on-year to $4.0 million, while revenue costs rose 194.4% to $95.5 million due to business expansion.
High-Trend issued 10,754,224 Class A ordinary shares to directors, officers, and consultants as compensation during the period, with a total fair value of $24.3 million. The shares are subject to a three-year performance-based vesting schedule.
Christopher Nixon Cox became the company's Chairman on March 13, 2025. Cox serves as a Director of the President Richard Nixon Foundation.
Net cash flow from operating activities reached $6.5 million in the first half of 2025, according to the press release.
