Harvard Bioscience Inc. (NASDAQ: HBIO) announced preliminary fourth quarter 2025 financial results that exceeded the midpoint of its guidance range, according to a company statement.

The life science research tools company reported preliminary revenue of $23.7 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, above the midpoint of its $22.5 million to $24.5 million guidance range. Gross margin reached 60%, at the high end of the company's 58% to 60% guidance range.

Adjusted EBITDA totaled $3.8 million, representing 27% growth compared to the same period last year. The company attributed the improvement to cost reductions, improved expense management and execution.

"We are excited for what's ahead and are confident we will drive year over year revenue growth and mid-to high-single digit adjusted EBITDA growth in 2026."

The company expects year-over-year revenue growth and mid-to-high single-digit EBITDA growth in 2026. Harvard Bioscience plans to release complete fourth quarter and fiscal year 2025 results on March 12, 2026, followed by a conference call at 8:00 a.m. ET.
