FingerMotion, Inc. (NASDAQ: FNGR) CEO Jolie Kahn issued a letter to shareholders outlining the company's plans to expand into modular AI and high-performance computing infrastructure in North America, while continuing to operate its mobile data, payment, and recharge platform in China.
Kahn, who became CEO earlier in August 2026, stated the company intends to pursue smaller, modular computing facilities deployed incrementally based on contracted or demonstrable customer demand, rather than large-scale hyperscale campuses. The company is evaluating behind-the-meter facilities in Western Canada located near natural-gas resources, where electricity would be generated and consumed on site.
FingerMotion recently acquired a 9.9% interest in Lyken AI Computing Inc., which operates as Lyken.AI and provides outsourced cloud-compute capacity. The company said it may increase that position over time under the terms of the definitive agreements.
The company also appointed Chris Polimeni as Chief Financial Officer. Polimeni brings more than 35 years of financial leadership experience across mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, SEC reporting, and auditing.
The letter identified several milestones the company intends to meet, including completing due diligence on an initial project, negotiating site and power agreements, securing customers before committing substantial capital, and integrating Lyken's enterprise-compute capabilities into its broader strategy.
Kahn noted the company recently completed financing transactions intended to provide additional working capital and said capital would be deployed in stages aligned with completed diligence and binding commercial arrangements.
FingerMotion's existing China-based platform business continues to operate, with management focused on improving efficiency, cash conversion, and profitability.
