Exagen reports preliminary 2025 revenue of $66M to $67M

Exagen Inc. (NASDAQ: XGN) reported preliminary unaudited financial results for 2025, showing total revenue between $66 million and $67 million for the full year, representing growth of 19% to 20% compared to 2024.
The autoimmune testing company reported fourth quarter revenue of $16 million to $17 million, reflecting year-over-year growth of 17% to 24%. The company's AVISE CTD test volume reached 136,000 to 137,000 for the year, an increase of at least 13,000 tests or 11% over 2024.
The company's AVISE CTD trailing 12-month average selling price expanded to $441 to $445, representing an increase of at least $30 compared to 2024. Exagen ended the year with $32 million in cash and cash equivalents, a $10 million increase from 2024.
The preliminary results are based on currently available information and financial closing procedures are not yet complete. The company's independent registered public accounting firm has not audited or reviewed the preliminary financial information.
"Based upon our preliminary results, we delivered significant topline growth, driven by both volume and ASP expansion, despite unexpected ASP headwinds in the second half of the year," said John Aballi, President and CEO.
Exagen specializes in autoimmune diagnostics, with its flagship AVISE CTD test used to diagnose conditions including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and Sjögren's syndrome. The company is based in Carlsbad, California.
