Energy Vault reports preliminary Q4 revenue of $150-155 million

Energy Vault Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NRGV) announced preliminary financial estimates for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2025, according to a press release statement.

The company expects fourth quarter 2025 revenue between $150.0 million and $155.0 million, representing a year-over-year increase of approximately 355%. This marks a sequential increase of roughly five times from the third quarter of 2025.

Fourth quarter gross profit is estimated between $28 million and $33 million, with gross margins expected between 18% and 22%. The company projects positive adjusted EBITDA of $5.0 million to $10.0 million for the quarter, compared to a loss of $13.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Net loss for the fourth quarter is expected to range from $22.1 million to $9.5 million, versus $61.8 million in the same period last year.

Energy Vault reported cash on hand of $103.4 million at year-end, representing a three-fold increase year-over-year and a 67% sequential increase from the third quarter.

For the full year 2025, the company estimates revenue between $200 million and $205 million, representing a year-over-year increase of approximately 335%. Full-year gross margins are expected between 22% and 25%.

The company will report complete fourth quarter and full-year 2025 financial results on March 17, 2026, followed by a conference call at 4:30 PM ET.

Energy Vault develops utility-scale energy storage solutions including battery, gravity and green hydrogen technologies. The preliminary results were announced in conjunction with a convertible securities offering.
